Who can enter? A single individual can enter ONE video for consideration during each of the 3 Round entry periods assuming a prior win has not occurred.
Do entrants need to be above a certain age? No.
How many videos can you submit? An individual can submit one video per round. Winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd ) from previous rounds may not re-enter.
How can videos be submitted? Videos can ONLY be submitted by completing the entry form found on the Summit Point Motorsports Park website.
How long should the videos be? Two minutes maximum.
Is there a file size limit? No as all videos will just be linked from the official voting site. (YouTube, Vimeo and Instagram)
Which file formats will be accepted? All video entries must be publicly available on YouTube, Vimeo or Instagram videos.
Can the videos have graphic overlay or music? Yes, both are acceptable but not required. Any music or video included must be part of the public domain.
Are there any specific requirements for the video content? One or more of the Summit Point 50th Anniversary Video Contest banners that appear on the Summit Point Motorsports Park property must appear in the video for a minimum of 3 seconds total. No more than 1/3 of the content can be from prior to 2019. None of the content can be in violation of track or event guidelines.
How will the winners be chosen? For the preliminary Rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Round 2) winners will be chosen by public vote. Anyone can vote once per day during the voting periods. For the Grand Prize, winners will be chosen by our Motorsports Judging Panel.
Who is on the Motorsports Judging Panel? The panel is comprised of Ross Bentley, Peter Krauss, Mike Levitas, Greg Melka, Tim Suddard and Brock Yates. For more info visit the Judges Panel Webpage. In the event of a tie, the SPMP Motorsports Director will break the tie. These contest judges will determine the winner(s) in the Grand Prize Round only. All decisions made by the designated judges are final. By participating, contestants agree to be bound by all contest rules and the decisions of the judges.
Are there prizes? What are the prizes? Yes, each individual round will have prizes and there will be a Grand Prize for the year. Visit the prizes section on the Video Contest Home Page for more information.
Who is excluded from entry? Contest is not open to Summit Point Raceway, Inc.’s employees, it’s subsidiaries or agents, employees of sponsor, contest judges, employee’s and sponsor’s immediate families, or employee’s and co-sponsor’s household members.
If I win can I get cash instead? Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred or assigned. No substitutions or cash awards in lieu of prizes are allowed.
What if I wreck while trying to get my video? Participants waive any and all claims of liability against Summit Point Raceway, Inc, contest sponsors, their affiliates, employees, agents, their families and members of their households from any accident, loss, and/or injury occurring as a result or consequence of contestants' participation in contests or promotions and/or winners' acceptance or use of prizes awarded such contests and promotions.
Do I have to pay taxes on my winnings? Winners assume any and all tax liabilities that may be applicable and related to claiming of prizes over a certain value. In other words, contests and promotions are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and are void where prohibited or restricted by law.
